\u00cen condi\u021biile\u00a0\u00een\u00a0care Uniunea European\u0103 are nevoie de circa un milion de noi cercet\u0103tori p\u00e2n\u0103\u00a0\u00een\u00a02020, Comisia European\u0103 a lansat o campanie al c\u0103rei scop este s\u0103 stimuleze interesul\u00a0mai\u00a0multor tinere pentru domeniul \u0219tiin\u021bific \u0219i s\u0103 conving\u0103\u00a0mai\u00a0multe femei s\u0103 \u00ee\u0219i fac\u0103 din cercetare o carier\u0103.<\/p>\n

Femeile reprezint\u0103 peste jum\u0103tate din num\u0103rul studen\u021bilor din UE \u0219i 45% dintre persoanele care ob\u021bin doctorate, \u00eens\u0103 numai o treime din num\u0103rul cercet\u0103torilor de carier\u0103. De asemenea, femeile cu titlul de doctor reprezint\u0103 o minoritate\u00a0\u00een\u00a0domenii ca ingineria sau industria. Campania se va desf\u0103\u0219ura pe parcursul a trei ani; \u00eentr-o prim\u0103 etap\u0103, ea \u00ee\u0219i propune s\u0103 st\u00e2rneasc\u0103 interesul adolescentelor pentru studiul \u0219tiin\u021belor, al tehnologiei, al ingineriei \u0219i al matematicii. Ulterior, accentul se va deplasa, la modul\u00a0mai\u00a0general, c\u0103tre studente, care vor fi \u00eencurajate s\u0103 se \u00eendrepte c\u0103tre o carier\u0103\u00a0\u00een\u00a0cercetare.<\/p>\n

Subreprezentarea femeilor \u00eentr-un sector vital pentru economie nu are nicio logic\u0103 \u00eentr-un moment ca acesta, c\u00e2nd Europa lupt\u0103 pentru cre\u0219tere economic\u0103 \u0219i locuri de munc\u0103.
