Cu ocazia celebrarii celor 9 ani de la infiintarea Asociatiei Nationale pentru Protectia Consumatorilor şi Promovarea Programelor si Strategiilor din Romania – InfoCons, Domnul Bryan Cassidy, Presedintele Sectiei pentru Piata Unica, Productie si Consum a Comitetului Economic si Social European a oferit un testimonial prin care transmite gandurile dumnealui consumatorilor din Romania.
“First of all, let me congratulate you on the 9 years of activity of A.N.P.C.P.P.S. Romania. I was delighted to hear about your new campaign launched on this occasion and I wish you well not only with “o9atitudine” campaign, but also with any other projects you might work on in the future.
Europe needs well-informed and confident consumers – consumers who know their rights and are able to protect themselves. In reality, however, most European consumers do not feel confident, knowledgeable and well-protected.
In the European Economic and Social Committee we believe that the best way to change this situation is to ensure strong and independent consumer organisations that make an active contribution in a free, competitive market, insist on transparency of information and act to protect the individual and collective interests of consumers.
The past 9 years of your activity show that there is a lot to be done. Protecting consumer’s rights and changing their mentality is not an easy task, but it is highly commendable and I fully support your objectives.”

“Mai intai de toate, permiteti-mi sa va felicit pe cei 9 ani de activitate a A.N.P.C.P.P.S. Romania. Am fost incantat sa aud despre noua dvs. campanie lansata si va doresc numai bine, nu numai cu campania “o9atitudine”, dar, de asemenea, cu oricare alte proiecte veti desfasura in viitor.
Europa are nevoie de consumatori bine informati si increzatori- consumatori care isi cunosc drepturile si sunt capabili sa se protejeze. In realitate, insa, cei mai multi consumatori europeni nu se simt increzatori, cunoscatori si bine protejati.
In Comitetul Economic si Social European credem ca cel mai bun mod de a schimba aceasta situatie este de a ne asigura ca organizatii puternice si independente ale consumatorilor care aduc o contributie activa intr-o piata libera, concurentiala, insista asupra transparentei informatiilor si actioneaza pentru a proteja interesele individuale si colective ale consumatorilor.
Cei 9 ani de activitate ai dumneavoastra arata ca sunt multe de facut. Protejarea drepturilor consumatorilor si schimbarea mentalitatii lor nu este o sarcina usoara, dar este extrem de laudabila iar eu sustin pe deplin obiectivele dumneavostra.”
